Life is short,⠀ Take the trip,⠀ Buy the shoes,⠀ EAT THE CAKE!!⠀ ⠀ This scrumptious number was made by a friend of the family, and oh my the poor lady was stressed! The cake had started to sink a little on one side and she begged us to try and make it look more symmetrical and hide some imperfections.⠀ ⠀ I couldn't count the amount of times a spare bucket of flowers & foliage saves the day and it's always a must have for us, you just never know what you might have to hide or highlight or generally add some last minute beautification.⠀ ⠀ Rad pic by @allsorts_pictures
Did you know...Alyssa is also a Bloom College teacher?⠀ ⠀ This is Tropical #arbour is one of the things she taught her Career Change students last year.⠀Bloom workshops run throughout the year, so check ‘em out. They’re pretty ace and if you book in for Collingwood you get our head florist... Bonus!
What’s with the tanty Melbs?⠀ ⠀ But I guess, as Mum always says when it buckets, we should “think of the farmers” ... ⠀ And we all know Mums are always right!⠀ ⠀ So think of the farmers, and your mothers, this weekend.⠀ ⠀ Stay safe, stay dry!⠀ #alreadydreamingofsummerweddings⠀📷 @vanessanorrisphoto
Go big or go home!⠀ ⠀ This whopper was for Sara whose fiancé proposed on Christmas day. What Matt didn’t realise was that Sara always wanted a warm weather wedding. So they plunged full swing into planning their day and 3 months later tied the knot!⠀ ⠀ How long will you spend planning?⠀ Our calendar is already filling up for next year, so get in touch!

When flowers meet books.⠀ ⠀ We love nothing more than a wedding with a meaningful theme. So when A&A said they wanted to incorporate books into their arrangements because one of them's a writer (#thebookninja), we couldn't wait to get started on a design. We didn't know how we were going to make it happen at first but we just knew that we had to make it work.⠀ ⠀ We think it turned out pretty great and so did A&A who said⠀ "Thanks so much to you and the Thrive team for all your beautiful work... The flowers were just so beautiful, everyone was raving about them (especially the book centrepieces, the chuppah and the installation!). You made the day so magical. We will definitely be recommending you to everyone we speak to!"⠀Lovely pic by @chris_kapa_photographerHave you got a theme planned? We'd love to hear about it!⠀
Up close and personal with the half-arch.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Utilising all 5 elements of floral design. Texture, form, space, colour, line.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ You may not be able to see them all in this shot but they were all used in abundance!⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I handed the reigns to @simonfrankas on-site (while Alyssa was busy planning a huge birthday bash) and boy did she nail it!
More half-arch goodness.⠀ ⠀ Full of Native flower textures for A&R’s #ceremony at one of our fave local venues The Craft & Co and created #foamfree⠀ ⠀ A&R dropped in while we were setting up to cross a few t’s and dot some i’s with the venue and it was so awesome to get their reaction first hand. They even tried the arch on for size by posing for a few pics; super cute! We also got to see them bust a few dance moves which, as a vendor that’s usually behind the scenes, felt really special. ⠀
Because we like to create things that are a little different.⠀ ⠀ Giant suspended metal disk in the “grunge” room for @l1studios event space launch.
Weddings are more fun with alllllll of your besties!Fun snap of Kerry and her 8(!) #bridesmaids. Each posy was designed slightly differently so they’re each as unique as the girl who holds them, while still sharing common elements, just like all these awesome chicks!
This morning felt like it was nearly time to bust out those furs again... Faux of course!⠀ ⠀ Loving this heart warming shot.
