Working with clients that trust your creativity gives you the opportunity to exceed their expectations because, although they know you're going to do something great, it also allows you to choose the flowers that best work for their budget and brief. ⠀⠀⠀ That's why, when the team from Harvey Publicity give us their colour palette and style, we can make fun things like this!

You all know we love a #succulent, or 10, so when Amy told us she wanted them mixed into the #centrepieces with white Hyde, peachy roses and grey gum, we knew they'd look stunning.⠀ ⠀ Amy organised her #wedding from afar, which we know can be a stressful experience. It's something that happens often and we always do what we can to assure our couples have an amazing experience with us regardless of whether we meet face to face or not.⠀ ⠀ She also had this to say...⠀ ⠀ "It was a real pleasure having you as our florists, so lovely and easy to work with. ⠀ We would be more than happy to recommend you to any of our friends for future floral needs!"⠀ ⠀ So I guess we did our job 😉

It often takes a few shots of a #bouquet to get "the one", but not for this beauty! She's a one shot wonder and well, no wonder! What a stunner. ⠀ ⠀ Katherin & Josh married at the fabulous @rupertonrupert on Sunday. The weather didn't want to play nice, so they had their photos together pre-wedding at the venue. It felt super special to get to see Josh waiting for his bride and to see Katherin arrive and hand her this bouquet.⠀ ⠀ ⠀

"I just wanted to write to thank you for helping to make our wedding day yesterday so special.⠀ The flowers and event set up were amazing and we couldn't have been happier."⠀ ⠀ Happy couple = happy florist!!Danielle took a moment on her very first day of being married to write us a message and send photos.⠀ That feels pretty special.⠀

Dahlias & Peonies… What’s not to love?⠀ …

Dahlias & Peonies... What's not to love?⠀ Alicia originally chose all Peonies for her #bouquet but we love that she decided to mix it up a little with some extra #floral elements. ⠀ ⠀ There's a lot of love for Peonies in the wedding world but the white variety can be notoriously tricky to work with, sometimes they'll open with a hot pink centre or open to reveal that they're very yellow inside. You may have been babysitting them for days to get them to just the right stage of bloom, then they pop open a totally different colour! Eeekkk! Lucky we have awesome suppliers that have got our backs when navigating Mother Natures cheeky humour!⠀ ⠀

Floral brief

Floral brief: "Traditional Chinese with a modern twist" The rush of a tight deadline never gets boring... Sometimes it gets exhausting, but never boring! This fancy dinner for one of China's largest construction companies is a perfect example. For reasons beyond our control, and that of the wonderful PR company Harvey Publicity who booked us, we had one of the tightest onsite set-up deadlines we've ever had to combat. But combat it we did. In fact I think we downright nailed it. Funnily enough when you're under the pump with a tight timeline is exactly the moment the creative magic really comes out to play. We had all our elements prepped and really to go so it was a case of bringing it altogether onsite. So in 90minutes Alyssa and pumped out 6 huge, detailed centrepieces, an entrance display and a bar arrangement. Every centrepiece was different, meaning each table had it's own unique experience. Imagine what we could have done with another hour!!!
